Lets play a game What does the job interviewer think of youAfter reading a previous post on the different resume templates, you must know what the job interviewer is thinking (during the interview). You must have the air of confidence while spending some time in finding the right attire. It wont be enough, though.What the interviewer may be thinking will make you nervous, which is a natural reaction. And you dont need to play the guessing game. If you do your homework, then you have three things to keep in mind. Its not daunting, as the number would indicate. It will be better if you do research on the company, but what youll see can change your perception. Are you looking at an sekretariat of mostly 20-somethings? It seems to be a small space, which is very different from a company of more than a thousand employees . And then pay attention to the activities. Do you hear the sounds of an informal chitchat? Otherwise, youll notice the silence right away. The employees are focused on their tasks, which is expected. It doesnt end there, as you must gauge your interviewer in a matter of seconds. Youll assume that it will be a formal interview style, but some interviewers are more conversational. All of these will give you three hints. First, you must be able to figure what side of your personality to reveal during the interview. Second, you must show how youll fit into the workplace. If you have a timid side, then dont show it. If you do, then the interviewer might look at you differently. (And it turns out that your position requires you to take charge.) Be tactful.You must have evidence to back up your resume. The interviewers have an impression that youre the good candidate for the job, and you must make sure that they will keep on thinking that way. Expect them to ask you for details about your job history. You must prepare for it, using active words and emphasizing the results. Be specific about it. And dont forget that it will be linked to the skills that theyre looking for. Practice will make you talk about it in a natural, if not conversational, manner. And they will notice your ability to handle the tasks.You must understand the nature of the position. You can do research on the company, where you can check out the interviews of the people who are working there. Take note of what they have to say, and how you can face it. This means recalling your past (work) experience and using it to show that you have what it takes. Expect their concerns, such as a possible tendency to jump ship when a new opportunity comes along. This is a chance to explain to them why this position is different from your previous jobs.Remember that not all interviews are the same.
